Which tickets should you compare?
Compare a braking-zone stand with views along the faster sections. The Castle section is visually distinctive, but do not assume every nearby seat sees a broad stretch of racing. We would ask for the current screen position, restricted zones and walking access before upgrading to hospitality.
A street-circuit ticket can emphasise the straight or a tight corner sequence. Confirm sightlines, viewing elevation and screen access. Check current entry rules before arranging flights.
Where to stay and how to reach the circuit
A central Baku or waterfront base can work well for a city-led visit. Ask the hotel how guests enter during circuit closures and where vehicles can stop. Staying near the old town makes non-racing time appealing, but confirm the pedestrian route to your own gate rather than rely on a generic circuit location.
Compare the total trip cost rather than the room rate alone: transfers, minimum stays, cancellation terms and time spent travelling all matter. Ask the hotel to confirm race-weekend arrival arrangements and keep restaurant reservations flexible until session times are released.
A practical weekend plan
Arrive with time to explore the old town before the core programme. Learn the pedestrian access route on the first circuit visit. Leave the evening after the race unhurried and put a longer waterfront walk or wider Azerbaijan excursion on a separate day.
