Queen’s is our recommendation for a London grass-court visit with a more concentrated programme than Wimbledon. It is a different club, in West Kensington, and now has separate women’s and men’s tournament weeks. Choose the week first: the event name alone does not tell you which competition you are booking.
Dates, venue and edition status
LTA lists provisional 5–20 June 2027 dates. Women’s week begins 7 June and men’s week 14 June; qualifying, final sessions and any changes require confirmation. The Queen’s Club is the venue reference. Check the current programme and session-specific ticket conditions separately.
How to choose tickets and hospitality
Compare the WTA and ATP weeks, then the named court, date and seat. A hospitality offer should specify whether the match ticket is included and where the dining space sits. We would favour a clear reserved seat over an assumed player appearance, and check the current weather and postponement terms before paying.
A named player may withdraw, lose earlier than expected or be assigned to another court. Buy the session and seat you are comfortable with rather than relying on an assumed match. Ask about postponements, weather policies and what happens if play moves to another court.
Where to stay and getting around
West Kensington, Hammersmith and nearby west-London districts suit a venue-oriented search. Central London offers a broader hotel choice with a journey added. Map the walk from your chosen station to the current gate; do not copy Wimbledon’s Southfields or SW19 instructions for Queen’s.
Compare room cancellation terms, minimum stays and the actual journey to your first and last bookings. If your accommodation and event purchase come from different suppliers, check both policies independently. A convenient base usually matters more than squeezing the maximum number of bookings into each day.
Build a realistic itinerary
Keep the booked day flexible around the order of play. Arrive early enough for security and locating your seat, then let the matches be the main activity. Give London sightseeing or a long meal a separate day rather than assume an exact finish for an outdoor tennis session.
What to confirm before you pay
Request the exact product, booked date or session, seat or reservation requirements, total price and currency, taxes, delivery method, cancellation terms and transfer restrictions. For hospitality, clarify whether dining, drinks, transport and the event ticket are included or quoted separately. Only written inclusions should inform the purchase.
Planning with Velloy
Contact Velloy with your preferred edition, number of guests, access priorities and hotel requirements. The team can explain which services and proposals are available; an enquiry is not a confirmed ticket or reservation. Explore membership separately for broader travel planning, and ask which rates, fees and benefits apply to your trip.
Frequently asked questions
Are Queen’s Club and Wimbledon the same venue?
No. Queen’s is in West Kensington and has separate women’s and men’s weeks. Wimbledon is a different tournament and venue in SW19. Put the competition and date in every enquiry.
Can I guarantee seeing a particular player?
A session ticket normally guarantees the ticketed access, not an individual player. The draw, results, scheduling and withdrawals can all affect appearances.
When should I book accommodation?
Once the relevant edition and access plan are clear, compare suitable hotels. If booking before ticket confirmation, use terms that protect you against a changed itinerary and avoid assuming the organiser will reimburse unrelated travel.
The planning detail we would not overlook
The LTA lists 5–20 June 2027 as provisional, with the women’s week starting 7 June and the men’s week starting 14 June. Qualifying and session details still need checking. Our overlooked-detail recommendation is to put the competition and date in every enquiry so a proposal cannot silently substitute the other week.
