This former 15th-century monastery turned was turned into a luxury resort in 1896 and is pearched on the hilltop town of Taormina in Sicily.

This iconic hotel, with its stunning cliffside location, ancient gardens, and storied history, served as the ideal backdrop for The White Lotus series.

As you can see above, Mount Etna features heavily in the backdrop of this hotel making this one of our favourite beach-front pick hotels.

This hotel has 105 guest rooms and suites with most of them featuring breathtaking views across the Ionian Sea and of Mount Etna.
