2027 calendar: 10 - 12 Dec 2027. Dates can change; confirm the organiser’s latest timetable before booking. Yas Marina Circuit is the planning reference for this guide. Session times, support races and entry arrangements should be checked on the official event page. Do not assume last year’s timetable or access rules apply.
Which tickets should you compare?
Compare braking-zone views with a main-straight seat for the grid and pits. We would ask for a current stand map and screen position before paying for a marina-facing description. A yacht or hotel package should specify its actual viewing location, ticket entitlement and any restrictions on moving around the venue.
Grandstands, hospitality and yacht products are not interchangeable. Ask about your view at different session times, circuit access and concert entitlements; verify any after-race benefits in writing.
Where to stay and how to reach the circuit
Yas Island suits a race-focused stay. Saadiyat suits a beach-led extension; central Abu Dhabi serves a broader city itinerary. Neither of the latter removes the commute. Confirm the permitted gate and return pickup, and check whether the hotel’s event package includes an actual race ticket or only accommodation.
Compare the total trip cost rather than the room rate alone: transfers, minimum stays, cancellation terms and time spent travelling all matter. Ask the hotel to confirm race-weekend arrival arrangements and keep restaurant reservations flexible until session times are released.
A practical weekend plan
Arrive before the programme, use the first circuit visit to learn the access routes and keep meals around the published local sessions. Add beach or cultural days before or after the weekend. Do not make a tightly timed onward flight the final item on race day.
Booking safely and requesting a proposal
Use the official organiser or a supplier whose authorisation and delivery terms you can verify. Before paying, request the exact product, currency, taxes, cancellation conditions, delivery method and any names required on tickets. Social-media photos are not proof of the current package.

The official 2027 page lists Sprint sessions, with times TBC. Check the new programme before buying only selected days. Our preference is to separate the resort budget from the race-viewing budget: a beautiful hotel can improve the holiday without necessarily providing the best seat.
