Belgian Grand Prix: Tickets, Hospitality & Travel Guide
Spa is our choice for travellers who want a great circuit rather than a city-centre spectacle. The Belgian Grand Prix’s long lap, forested setting and elevation changes are the appeal.

Spa is our choice for travellers who want a great circuit rather than a city-centre spectacle. The Belgian Grand Prix’s long lap, forested setting and elevation changes are the appeal. They also make this a weekend of real walking distances and variable weather, not a small venue to improvise around.
Dates, venue and the latest edition
2027 calendar: 23 - 25 Jul 2027. Dates can change; confirm the organiser’s latest timetable before booking. Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is the planning reference for this guide. Session times, support races and entry arrangements should be checked on the official event page. Do not assume last year’s timetable or access rules apply.
Which tickets should you compare?
Choose the kind of racing you want to see. Eau Rouge and Raidillon offer the dramatic climb; La Source puts the emphasis on slow-corner braking and the opening part of the lap. Ask for the precise stand, screen and access map. A famous corner name is not enough to establish the sightline from your seat.
Eau Rouge and Raidillon are iconic but not the only useful viewpoints. Compare braking zones and covered stands. Pack for changing conditions and confirm whether your ticket requires long walks between viewing areas.
Where to stay and how to reach the circuit
Spa, Malmedy and nearby Ardennes towns suit a circuit-led stay. Liège can offer a city base, but the return journey needs serious consideration. Compare parking zones and final approach roads before choosing accommodation. A hotel that is geographically close may still sit on the wrong side of your permitted access route.
Compare the total trip cost rather than the room rate alone: transfers, minimum stays, cancellation terms and time spent travelling all matter. Ask the hotel to confirm race-weekend arrival arrangements and keep restaurant reservations flexible until session times are released.
A practical weekend plan
Arrive before the weekend programme and allow the first circuit day for orientation. Do not attempt to walk the entire venue between important sessions. Keep a rest break and an unrushed exit in each day, with sightseeing or a spa visit outside the core race schedule.
Booking safely and requesting a proposal
Use the official organiser or a supplier whose authorisation and delivery terms you can verify. Before paying, request the exact product, currency, taxes, cancellation conditions, delivery method and any names required on tickets. Social-media photos are not proof of the current package.
Ask Velloy about your dates, guests, viewing priorities and hotel requirements. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Membership is a separate option if you want to explore help with trips beyond this event; specific rates, access and inclusions must be confirmed before payment.
Frequently asked questions
Should I choose Eau Rouge or La Source at Spa?
Eau Rouge and Raidillon suit the dramatic climb; La Source suits slow-corner braking and the opening lap sequence. Request the precise seat and screen map before deciding.
Can I book next year using this guide?
Use the guide for planning, but recheck the edition note and official calendar before non-refundable arrangements. Dates and ticket releases are maintained on this same evergreen page.
Do I need membership to enquire?
Contact Velloy to discuss the event and ask which services are available. Request the requirements and fees applicable to your proposal rather than assuming membership includes a ticket.
The planning detail we would not overlook
Waterproof footwear and a proper rain layer are our non-negotiable planning recommendation for Spa. Ask about gradients, steps and accessible transport if they matter to your group. The circuit is extensive; start with your ticketed zone and avoid assuming that a map’s short-looking path is a quick walk.
